In 2010 we celebrate 5 years of AFARAI. Over the years we were very fortunate to work on a wide range of projects concerning the contemporary city. From architectural designs for Toko 94 in Rotterdam, installations for the Architectural League in New York and monumental re-use projects, to innovative events such as the Artmarket Amsterdam, the Shoot Wibaut Photo Safari and exhibitions like the Ultra de la Rue: Contemporary Urban Graphics Expo, we did it all with a lot of passion! Since the future is now, we seized the day to re-style the AFARAI studio. New colors, and lot’s of fresh ideas for the projects we’re working on this year.

A Day In São Paulo is the first book in the Day by Day book series. Together with creative innovator INNAVISIONS we set out on a one-day journey in São Paulo to find out what stories do we take with us from the streets we inhabit. A Day In São Paulo tells a story that goes beyond individual styles in order to show the collective impact of urban visual artists on the way we encounter our surroundings.
