New York Loves Amsterdam Exchange
In 2009 Amsterdam celebrated 400 years of relations with New York. As part of the NY400 Hudson year and the New York Nights Program an international exchange between graphic designers and street artists from New York and Amsterdam will took place in the Dutch capital..
Artists and designers Ellis Gallagher, Mike Perry, Rich Jacobs, Chris Stain, and Taylor Mckimens worked together with local artists Lok Jansen, Jeroen Koolhaas, Wayne Horse, Twothings, Lilshy, en Raymond Lemstra came together to exchange creativity with the Amsterdam community in a special workshop in a special workshop at Sid Lee, a local creative agency. The artworks made in this creative session we’re distributed throughout the city for free as part of the opening of the NY400 Hudson year.
